Newport Beach, CA: NetworkD Group, the number one provider of Infrastructure Management Software and Business Process Solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Ker to its Board of Directors. Michael Ker, President and CEO of Wave Capital Partners, joins seven existing board members.

Michael Ker has over twenty years of experience in technology, sales, operational and marketing leadership, including nine years as President & CEO at Webplan, Inc. During his early career, Ker served in senior management positions at several software companies, including: Lansa USA, Lawson Software, Pansophic Systems, and MAI Basic Four. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Ottawa-Carleton Manufacturer's Network and for Ottawa's Board of Technology Ventures.

Michael has been honored with numerous awards for his business acumen, including: Business Person of the Year, Silver 1999, Bronze 2001 and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Orange County Finalist 2001. Michael is also credited with leading Webplan through a series of technical and business transformations that led to the highly responsive organization that exists today. Under Michael's leadership Webplan recorded eight years of strong revenue growth and profitability.
