LANDesk Management Suite 8.8

Salt Lake City, UT: LANDesk Software, a leading provider of systems, security and process management solutions, has released Service Pack 1 for LANDesk Management Suite 8.8.
Some of the highlights of this release include a high level overview of the scheduled task flow of a push-based software distribution task and the communication that occurs; an autofix process flow to allow a failed vulnerability to clear the failed repair status and retry the autofix; and enabled verbose logging for LANDesk Antivirus for those running LANDesk Management Suite 8.8 and LANDesk Antivirus.
Additionally, the service pack includes changes to the connection control manager, LANDesk Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), LANDesk Patch Manager; LANDesk Process Manager automated patch download, inventory, software distribution, and software distribution policy management.
