In addition to bug fixes, Service Pack 2 includes new functionalities. Some of the highlights include the LANDesk LaunchPad and new Power Management features.

The LANDesk LaunchPad helps administrators manage applications simply and efficiently. Key features of LaunchPad include centralized application control, just-in-time application delivery, and process driven deployment. Advanced Power Management capabilities provide a way to support business productivity while reducing energy costs. New reporting capabilities allow you to see the impact of your policy before deploying it and monitor it’s return on investment.
